-ONE-
I'm still obsessed with lemon poppy seed pancakes, but it's time I explored some new pancake options... So tomorrow morning, I'm going to whip up a batch of these whole wheat, buttermilk, & orange pancakes! I spotted this recipe in my Cooking Light magazine, which means they have to be just a little bit healthy right? I think I'll wash them down with a mimosa, cheers!

I finally added an "about me" section to the tab at the top. So for all of you who just can't wait to hear more about me, rush over and check it out! :-) I loved looking back over old photos and deciding which ones to include. My maternity photos are some of my favorites; they are only adding to my baby fever! Even though we moved into our new house a year go, I have yet to hang up many pictures. This needs to change immediately! I really want to do a gallery wall, but I'm not quite sure where it would look best yet.

In other blog related news, don't forget to enter my Woolzies giveaway which ends Sunday night! I have been loving our new dryer balls, and so has Liam!
-FOUR-
Liam hates... I repeat, hates being put in his car seat! It was never a problem until a week or so ago. He's fine once we are driving, but trying to put him in has become miserable. And it's breaking my heart! I literally have to start trying to distract him as we are approaching the car, and then battle him once he sees it until I finally have him strapped in. It is absolutely exhausting, and it has prevented me from running numerous errands lately. I sometimes just don't have the energy for it. I'm hoping this phase passes soon! This little cartoon is all too realistic or only slightly humorous; Liam is a combination of the Twister & the Rod!
-FIVE-
I am so thankful for all of my followers and of the blogging community as a whole! I have been looking for fun ways to say thanks and "give back" to all of you, so..... I have a big surprise that will be coming your way towards the end of January / early February. I love surprises, so you will just have to wait!

I've made those whole wheat, buttermilk, and orange pancakes...and yes, they're as good as they sound!!!
ReplyDeleteNow I want pancakes, haha.
Those pancakes sound amazing! Your maternity pictures are gorgeous - love the backdrop!
ReplyDeleteThank you! We were at a lighthouse in Seattle and it was an absolutely beautiful day!
DeleteYou were a stunning prego! And the car seat cartoon made me laugh- though I shouldn't.
ReplyDeleteYou are one hot pregnant lady! I'd be having baby fever too if I looked that good pregnant!
ReplyDeleteHi, Laura! I just found your blog through the 5 on Friday link-up. :) Your maternity photo is gorgeous! It will look great on a gallery wall. And, I just started using some Woolzies and I like them overall. I'm just having a small problem with some static cling still. I'd like to stick with them since they're so much better than dryer sheets. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteThank you; you are so sweet! You could try using more Woolzies to help reduce static, but otherwise I'm not sure!
DeleteThanks for the tip! I'll try that out! :)
DeleteYour maternity pics are so pretty! I didn't have any taken but when I'm pregnant again I'll definitely have them taken and use yours as inspiration! And you are so lucky that the car seat trouble just started for you, we've dealt with it for many many months. It totally makes you rethink how many errands you will run!
ReplyDeleteYou HAVE to get maternity pictures next time! I love looking back at mine! I'm hoping this whole car seat thing passes soon because it is rough on Liam & I. We still have him rear facing and it's something plan on continuing until he hits the maximum height or weight, so it could be awhile...
DeleteYou are the loveliest mama...I admire you so much! LOVE reading your new about section!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYAY for the giveaway...! And surprise and delight! Love it! Love that phrase too...my hubby's work has surprise and delight days...so fun! xx
Laura, I'm new to blogging and found your blog via Link-Up. It was a good time to check it out since you added the "About Me" section. It sounds like you guys have been through a lot of change and moving over the past few years, but all in very exciting ways. Thank you for sharing! I look forward to keeping up with it. http://jenuinehappiness.blogspot.com/
