My little book worm wanted to share his favorite books for the Fall season today! We're slowly building up a collection for each holiday, which has been so much fun! Liam loves when a new book makes it's way onto his shelf, or when a book he hasn't seen in a year reappears! I pretty much get just as excited!
We love duck and goose find a pumpkin. Noah shakes his head no along with them when they don't see the pumpkin :). We also like It's Pumpkin Day, Mouse! Another simple story but I expand on it by counting the pumpkins and describing the faces they paint.
FUN! I love holiday books! We got Cam a few new ones for Halloween (http://scottfamilyofmaine.blogspot.com/2014/09/friday-faves-ushering-in-fall.html). We have Goodnight Goon, too, and he LOVES it!! Last year, he wasn't so into books, so I LOVE that he understands holidays now and will sit and read 10 books in a row. This is the best age!
We have the Duck & Goose book, too. I feel like it's missing a page between the second to last page and the last one. Like their trip to the pumpkin patch. Anabelle (who doesn't over-analyze children's books) loves it anyway!
