Total Weight Gain: 30 lbs, and I'm owning it...or trying to! This was all I gained with Liam, so it's hard to know this number will be increase by another 10 lbs likely. Although scale wise, I still weigh less than I did with Liam, so there's that small victory. I need to remind myself that starting this pregnancy underweight means I of course will gain more.
Symptoms: Just more Braxton Hicks.
Food Cravings/Aversions: Fruit, lemonade, & all breakfast foods (especially croissants)...exact same as last week.
Staying Active? Another four runs this week, boom! However....I officially took my last run this week. It has been getting increasingly hard on my body, and I knew I was pushing myself too hard. My last run was an emotional one, and I'm still pouting about it to be honest.
Cries: A few. It was another slightly emotional week. But I'm a bit of an emotional person, so it's expected!
Liam's Thoughts: He keeps telling me that Finn is going to "pop out"! I'm sure hope so buddy, that would wonderful in comparison to Liam's 2 day labor! He's also started talking about nursing much more, especially since my colostrum has come in. The other night he very sweetly told Conor & I that he is going to share "Nini" (what he calls nursing) with baby Finn. It will be interesting to see how all this plays out once Finn is actually here.

Birth Plan: We have hired a doula, and both Conor & I just adore her. She has already given me more confidence going into this birth. We've met with her twice already, and I can't wait for all that is going to come with her and with Finn's birth!

That's so cool your colostrum has already come in. I always figured one of the reasons I struggled with breast feeding was because noah came early and the body can't be ready with the milk that early. I guess everybody is different with when that happens!
ReplyDeleteDid you have a doula with Liam too? Sounds like such a great person to have in your corner at that time.
ReplyDeleteDon't even pay attention to the numbers! You look AMAZING and, as long as you're feeling healthy, that's all that matters! (I know that's easier said than done, but seriously...you are ROCKING the extra 30 pounds!) I am so proud of you for still getting in four runs last week, but good for you for listening to your body. ;) 32 weeks, wow!! It seems so fast!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you've managed to keep running to this point, so I think you should be proud of that accomplishment! Looking great as always!
ReplyDeleteLook at that bump! So happy you're feeling so good about your doula! I'm sure that makes things just a little easier! Getting so close!
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm, fruit and breakfast foods is the perfect craving! Ha ha! You look awesome! And you are all belly! Don't stress as the numbers go up! They will melt away once you have your sweet babe!
ReplyDeleteYour bump is fantastic, lady!!!! Way to keep it up with your running, girlie!
ReplyDeleteToo cute about Liam's thoughts.
oh that is fabulous about the doula!! and congrats for running up until now, i am sorry you had to stop and i can't imagine how emotional your last run would have been.
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing - don't even worry about that number on the scale! Easier said than done of course ;)
ReplyDeleteKuddos for you for working out still! I swear I used pregnancy as an excuse to just stick with walking; but even at the point you are at I am impressed! :)
ReplyDeleteHa, that's what many people do! I get some crazy runner's high and just want to workout nonstop when I'm pregnant!
DeleteYay for finding a doula ya'll are already loving so much!!!! So excited for ya'll. And girlfriend, I'm already a few pounds away from my delivery weight with Lily. I didn't gain nearly enough with her though, so I keep trying to tell myself that. Its difficult though. Lily seems to think she needs to nurse again too. We have had many conversations about the boobies. haha It'll be interesting to say the least.
ReplyDeleteJust so you know-you look fantastic! And kudos on running so far into your pregnancy! You are one fit mama!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rachel! I was hoping to run until the very end, so it's a bit of a let down.
DeleteNew to your blog and now following via Instagram! Congrats on 32 weeks. I'm just ahead of you at 38 weeks. Love your darling outfit and looking forward meeting your little one on the blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed you were able to run that long...and keep up with a toddler! I was exhausted everyday without exercising, ha. And I definitely hope labor for you is much easier the second time!
ReplyDeleteAs always- looking FAB! I've started wearing pads in my bra as well. Started about 26 weeks and I thought omg this is early. I'm hoping its a good sign. So happy to hear that yall are happy with the doula! Way to go on the runs too girl!
ReplyDeleteSo happy you found a doula that you love!! You're looking great, and getting so close!! :) Also, high-five to you for staying so active, I think it's wonderful and I'm sure will benefit you come labor time. You'll be back at it in no time.
