Sweet sweet Friday, so happy to have you here. Liam & I have a playdate at the truck park (just as cool as it sounds) and then we have a get together with my doula this evening! Then the weekend will be dedicated to house projects (mainly Liam's room and the nursery too) and enjoying all the warm temps & sunshine that are headed this way! Here's my (sometimes) weekly five... As always, thanks to all the lovely hosts:
Christina,
Darci,
April, &
Natasha!
-ONE-
I'm seriously considering purchasing a one piece swim suit for this summer. Don't get me wrong, I love rocking a bikini, but sometimes I wish I had something just a touch more conservative when I have Liam crawling all over me. Or perhaps living in Utah is actually starting to affect my fashion choices... Regardless, I am loving
this anthropologie suit! The neckline may just be a tad to low for the nursing breasts that will be making their obvious appearance this summer!
-TWO-
My brother-in-law & niece opened up a small online shop called
FOUR ZERO SIX, and I'm am so excited about their new venture! Their apparel for the little ones is adorable; I see some matching shirts for Finn & Liam in the future! So go check them out!
-THREE-
I cannot say enough good things about my
Fitbit
! I seriously find it motivating. The last two weeks I've participated in a fun little challenge with some other bloggers, and it got me in the gym more often than usual. But what it's really amazing for....the silent alarms! It simply vibrates to wake you up! While I don't utilize this feature often (Liam is my own personal alarm clock), Conor uses it so that his ridiculous amount of alarms (usually 3) don't wake me up in the morning too! It has saved Conor from many a mean mug in the wee hours of the morning. :-)
-FOUR-
I usually listen to Top Hits on Pandora while I'm running, but sometimes that playlist gets a bit boring. I am always way too excited when some new song comes on that I haven't heard before. So my new jam... Honey I'm Good by Andy Grammer! Such a fun song that already has be ready windows-rolled-down weather!
-FIVE-
I just bought a
doTERRA Petal Diffuser
,
and I can't wait to start using it. I have been easing my way into the world of essential oils, and so far I just love them! Many of friends use them, so they are teaching me the ways! Any favorite oils or blends that you all diffuse?!
Found your blog through the Five on Friday linkup. I love that swimsuit and I love the soft curls in your hair! What do you do to style it that way? Curling iron or hot rollers??
ReplyDeleteA truck park?!?!? I want to come play, lady!
ReplyDeleteYou could totally rock that swimsuit. I think a one piece is definitely need with a lil one.
I'm super intrigued by oils, just haven't used one yet. What do you recommend?
I love the suit - ADORABLE! Thinking I will need a one-piece, too! ;)
ReplyDeleteI am in love with that suit! I swore I would never wear a one piece, but as a mama it's SO much easier!!
ReplyDeleteI use DoTerra oils and swear by them - we use them for teething, ear infections, to helps us sleep and to boost our immunity from getting sick. My favorites are lavender & breathe diffused at night; serenity on the soles of my feet before bed, and OnGuard on my daughter's feet and chest to help keep the yucky daycare germs away! If you have any more questions about oils, I'd love to chat! :)
I love that bathing suit! One pieces can be totally stylish and flattering, especially when you're running around after two kiddos! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the suit! Modest and totally flattering and flirty :)
ReplyDeleteI am loving it, but I'm seriously worried about that low neckline!
DeleteSuper cute suit! I have one like that for the "I'm feeling bloated" days. I'm sure you've seen it in my beach pics and stuff. It's nice to have a couple different style suit options!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the truck park! Noah would LOVE that! We instead will be stuck with the snow!
ReplyDeleteI love that suit! So pretty. I'm interested in getting one of those essential oil diffusers too. What oils do you diffuse? Also, a truck park sounds like so much fun. Have a good weekend lady!
ReplyDeleteThat suit is so cute! I need to find a new one piece for this summer. Last summer I had a maternity suit.
ReplyDeleteI was actually just talking to someone this morning about essential oils. I think I'm going to start too. I've heard great things about Thieves and Lavender (for sleeping).
Hope y'all have a great weekend!
