Stitch Fix (with a bump) #5

I haven't done much shopping lately, as I only have a couple short months left with this bump, but I just couldn't resist another fix!  There's just something about that special package showing up on your steps that has me loving Stitch Fix even more these days!  As usual, if you don't know about this clothing service, then please go check out their site.  No need to talk about all those details here.  Conor was unable to snap some photos for me this time, so I was left to tackle the job by myself.  We all know that I am no fashion model, and even more so, I am no fashion photographer.  Bare with me...
Staccato Iva Short Sleeve Cardigan - really wanted to, almost kept, but didn't

When I first saw this cardigan right out of the box, I thought "ugly".  But then I slipped it on, and I instantly sort of loved it!  It's a bit more boho than I typically go for, but I was feeling it!  If I were going to keep more than one thing from this fix, this would have been my next pick!

LA Made Maternity Alysha Cap Sleeve Knit Top - hated, returned

This shirt was terrible, terrible, terrible.  It screamed maternity!  The material was really thick, and the crossover, nursing friendly front just looked strange.  I couldn't take this off quick enough!

Eight Sixty Lera Cross Front Maternity Top - hated, returned

I was really surprised that this was stated as a maternity top, because it did not appear that way!  And that little peek-a-boo slit in the front?!  That's not exactly what I'm looking for when I'm pregnant nor nursing!
Gilli Alannah Maxi Skirt - the keeper!

I just loved this!  It photographed a little strange, but was beautiful in person.  Super soft & the perfect fit.  I'll be able to rock this while I'm pregnant, but mostly it will be my go to all summer long!

LA Made Maternity Siera Maternity Maxi Dress - terrible, returned

I really wanted to like this dress, but the stripes were just so wrong.  Plus it required me to wear a strapless bra, which just will not work when I'm nursing, so it was sent back!

I'm already anxious to schedule another fix, although I know I should probably hold off until way after Finn is born!  No one wants to be trying on clothes immediately postpartum.  If you're interested in trying Stitch Fix, please use my link so that I can reap the benefits of your shopping addiction as well!  P.S.  Did you spy Liam making an appearance in a few photos...? :-)

  4. That skirt is fabulous, and I agree with the stripes, they are kind of weird. You look good, but the stripes look weird!

  5. LOL love Liam peeking in! Life of a mama :) I love the skirt and the top cardigan as well! The red shirt I kind of liked but maybe I would have a different opinion if I was wearing it. I tried StitchFix once but unfortunately I am a major bargain shopper, so when most of the pieces were around $50-$60 I just couldn't do it...I'm a $25 gal! Anyway...you look wonderful and glowing! Xo Chelsea play. wash. rinse. repeat.

    1. Yeah it's definitely not for the bargain shopper! I tend to invest in pricier pieces and just not shop as often, so it's perfect for me!

  10. Who puts a boob slit on a maternity top? Like we need to draw anymore attention to the area! :) I LOVE that cardigan...it must have been hard to send back! That skirt looks SO comfy and definitely something you can wear post-baby! Fun stuff!

  11. Ha! Yes, I was going to say Liam's little photo bombs are the best. :) Good choice on the skirt, most versatile as far as maternity+postpartum. I'm getting so close to breaking down and giving this a try.. :) I'll keep your link handy.

  12. Liam is a cute little photobomber. :) I want to like that striped dress too, but I see what you mean! A maxi skirt is always a good idea though and looks super comfy.

  13. Peek-a-boo Liam! haha I definitely don't understand that slit in the middle of a "maternity" shirt. So weird. Oh the comfyness of maxi skirts and dresses! Summer can't get here soon enough!

  14. Love the cardigan; it is definitely a transition piece from pregnancy to post-pregnancy (not to make you feel guilty or anything for sending it back). And I totally did not know that Stitch Fix sent pregnancy wear! I will have to activate my account again at some point to see what is different.

  18. Always love seeing Stitch Fix reviews! Love the skirt you kept, and agree with the ones you sent back! You don't need a lot of maternity at this point anyway, so save you dollars for new stuff after baby. Woohoo!!!:)
