Conor & Liam spent part of their Sunday curled up on the couch together watching the final round of the Masters. I'm actually amazed that Liam will sit & watch sports with us while genuinely seeming interested in what is going on! Once the tournament was over, we took the little man outside to get in a round of his own before the sun set!
Liam has had a set of clubs since last summer, but he was never overly interested in them until just this last month. Still whenever he busted them out, it looked much like a game of croquet (one handed strokes and all) than any form of golf. But he loved it nonetheless, so "golf" has become a frequent afternoon activity! But then this weekend, it clicked! It was a little bit of toddler magic, but all of sudden Liam was completely focused on really learning what to do. He constantly wants Conor to help him figure out his grip and set up his feet for the biggest swing ever! Every time! There are many many whiffs, but it hasn't hurt his confidence one little bit!
Another one of those proud proud parent moments! It has been incredible to watch him "get it" and actually excel at it. It's amazing how impressed you can be with your own child at just the simplest of things! This new found focus has us so excited to keep introducing all sorts of sports to Liam. I can't wait to see what he loves best and where his skills really are.
