Weekend Recap

Oh, this weekend left me wanting more!  I had all sorts of to-do lists floating around, especially with Finn's birthday party happening on Thursday, but somehow Conor was able to help me sneak in plenty of fun too!  We tapped a new keg of our home brewed cider, blackberry this time, and sipped through some projects.

We bought some outdoor lights last fall, that we had still yet to hang up, so I casually mentioned it would be nice to have those up for Finn's party.  Well, when you give a mouse a cookie... because literally within just a couple of hours, Conor had hit the hardware store and built me a pergola (of sorts) for the back yard, which we strung up the outdoor lights on and put up some hanging baskets!  The flowers have me itching to plant my garden!  Hopefully we're not expecting anymore snow, and I can get to planting next weekend.

But the real fun was had Saturday evening.  It was a fairly windy day, just perfect for kite flying.  So we filled a growler and headed for our favorite spot.  There are mountain views in every direction; it's one of my favorite spots in SLC.  I'll just let the pictures do the talking, because they capture our time together so perfectly!

These are the best of the bunch, but don't hate me if I keep blowing up
Instagram with more photos from our weekend!
